We started with a simple idea: Vermouth should be made with the highest quality wine available. We figured that if good wine makes good vermouth, excellent wine would make excellent vermouth. And we were right. Atsby uses a Chardonnay created by a master vintner working on a small plot of land on the Long Island Sound. One hundred percent of our wine is from the same region, the same producer and the same year. Starting with a vintage wine gives Atsby a sophisticated, natural quality that can’t be found in other vermouths.
